Sam Akoidu

Sam Akoidu is a certified NASM personal trainer through the National Academy Of Sports Medicine, strength matters kettle bell certified – strength and conditioning program, TRX suspension trainer certified – strength and conditioning.

In addition to his certifications, Sam approaches training in a holistic manner – fully integrating a scientific approach with a mental training aspect. While facilitating healthy weight loss and activating positive muscle gain are necessary for physical change, mental training and transformation is fundamental for sustaining physical results.

 

My connection to fitness

My journey into fitness began during my days as a multi-sport athlete. However, as life grew busier, I drifted away from prioritizing fitness, only to find myself grappling with back problems. It was this struggle that showed me the importance of health and wellness. With a newfound dedication, I focused on enhancing my strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. As I committed to this journey, my back issues gradually dissipated, and I experienced a profound shift in my perspective on life.

Through this process, I discovered my ability to create positive change. This realization became the driving force behind my desire to coach others in their journey to unlock their full potential. My passion lies in empowering individuals to realize that they, too, can undergo remarkable change when they're ready to take that first step.
